Dove Adolescent Services provides flexible, individual care packages for children and young people.

Our network of small multi-occupancy homes and single occupancy Specialist Resource Units give us the flexibility to support vulnerable children of different backgrounds and needs.

Our people, experience and approach to care are what make us stand out from other providers.

We accept referrals from both local authorities and independent providers of care services for young people, male or female,
usually aged between eight and seventeen. Typically they have a complex history and multiple needs.

Our Purpose

At Dove, our mission is to give the young people in our care a realistic chance to recover from often damaging histories and believe in their own potential whilst building towards a positive, confident start to adult life.

Dove School

Dove School is an independent special school, owned and operated by Dove Adolescent Services. It offers an alternative to mainstream education for the young people in our care. Our emphasis is on the development of positive attitudes towards self and learning, with a curriculum which meets individual needs and secures individual achievement.

Our Service Model

We have developed our organisation with the aim of providing young people with bespoke packages of care. We have developed our service model over a number of years to become innovative in our delivery.

We’re immensely proud to have been awarded Investors in People Gold Status. This is an incredibly rare accolade – to earn gold you need to meet the 36 requirements of standard IIP accreditation, plus a further 126 requirements.

Gold represents achievement of world class practice. It shows a truly cutting edge
organisation is operating at the very highest levels of people management practice using Investors in People to drive the business forward.

Fewer than 1% of UK organisations have reached this prestigious standard. We are the very first to do so in our sector.

It’s a massive testament to the hard work of our whole team. It also helps demonstrate how our progressive approach helped us to achieve such positive 2010 Ofsted inspection reports for our homes.

95% of the 63 overall category ratings were Outstanding or Good.

Here are some of the comments from our 2011 Investors in People review report.
