We established as an organisation in 1993 with a clear focus on providing young people with high quality residential care.
We are committed to improving the lives of the young people we care for by providing bespoke packages of care to suit individual needs.
We have 10 homes ranging in size to accommodate need – multi occupancy (4 bedded and 2 bedded) and single occupancy specialist resource homes.
We have received a number of prestigious awards over the years for our commitment, including People Make Performance Award, Leadership and Management Award, IIP Gold Award (first childrens homes to achieve this) , Barnsley Business Award for commitment to training and numerous Outstanding Ofsted inspection reports across our homes.
As Directors we are extremely proud of our growth and commitment of our employees and young people alike. We are a valued, accredited and highly acclaimed provider within the sector.
Dove Adolescent Care have partnered with the Northern School of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Clinical Service, which is a part of the Leeds and York Partnership Foundation NHS Trust, to form a specialist model of practice and approach to residential care.
The partnership is based on the principle of integration: integrating education/ training, clinical practice, research and evaluation into all areas of residential care.
The outcome is ‘outstanding’ residential care informed by a psychoanalytically informed observational approach.
